More Tunbridge Wells Love!!

Please see further details of the Pantiles Christmas Walks.

Following on from yesterday’s blog, here are a selection of other Christmas Events. On Friday 14th December CREATE are holding a carol service in St Barnabas Church, and a second one on Sat 15th in Groombridge. On Saturday 15th in St Mary’s Church, Speldhurst at 7.30pm, The Fiddlers perform their first concert in aid of Hospice in the Weald.

Also music-wise on Thursday 20th December the Acoustic Valium launch a joint project with The Bedford pub, a Christmas PARTY from 9pm of music and fund raising for SANDS, no entry charge, just turn up at the pub, buy some drinks, enjoy some music including ‘Ricky and the Hats’.

However anyone wishing to stay at home and enjoy some warmth and comfort can view Tunbridge Wells online.

Since the first of December An audience with the Pope has released a daily advent calendar, interviewing local musical stars about their likes, dislikes and Hopes for the future.

Online from today, Thursday 13th December, Tunbridge Wells Writers start their Twelve Days of Christmas. A group that meets fortnightly in The Black Pig Pub to support each other’s writing, what ever it may be, their first real project was as part of ELF2012. Inspired by how that made them write, rather than drink and talk, it was decided to select a random picture and each write 1,000 words…. Well, a picture paints a 1,000 words! Now a story a day will be released on the blog leading up to a complete e-book for Christmas.

Finally, to review the whole year in pictures – visit Tunbridge Wells Life …and then book a Winter Wander

Sunset is now 15.52 and sunrise at 07.54 so we have so much more night to fill with these good things!
