Twelve days until Christmas

The Christmas build up carries on in Tunbridge Wells, a super frosty sunset last night, so wrap up warm today and go for a wander, see what’s on.

Worth a walk along Camden Road at the moment to see the “Twelve Days of Christmas”. Today it is twelve days until Christmas, so I’ve featured Mirror Image Photography who have the partridge in a pear tree!

Also today the craft chalets will be open at the Calverley Grounds Ice Rink selling a wide range of products including handmade soap in scents such as Sweet Lavender, Rosemary Pink Cheeks, Cinnabar, Zing Thing, Citrus Herb and Pinkly Passion, and beautiful jewellery, felt hats and scarves. Worth a visit even if not a skate, there are two cafés now and a photo competition: FoCG

Just along the road in The High Street Payne & Son Jewellers are having a late night shopping evening, open from 9.30am and staying open until 7.00pm. There will be a free raffle entry with every purchase. Spend over £500 and receive a Gold Card Loyalty Card which will entitles you to 15% discount off future purchases. The Gold Card also means you will receive the preferential email newsletter, and notification of any special discounts, offers and promotions which are happening in store. This evening the Acoustic Valium will be in The Bedford pub at the end of The High Street from 9pm with these acts: Bryony Brooke, Jam Jams Enemies, Jessica Johansson & The Wise Men, Seb Pettitt and Second Helpin’. Stop by for a drink and a listen! Thursday nights in The Forum you can see a selection of new bands for £5.00 “Show us yer guns”, starting at 7.45pm tonight’s acts are CLOWNS, Eddie Falco, Rivers and Let The Dust Settle.
