Another Javabean evening

Following on from the first ‘Read Your Words’ evening in March, we arranged another one to fit in around the ‘Word Up!’ events in the Forum. To the backdrop of art by Julia Stockwell-Hamid a total of ten people got up to … read their words. A mixture of regulars from Tunbridge Wells Writers group, there were others who had heard about the event, giving a varied evening from Daniel Culmer (top) “Taste the Difference” food slam poetry, to Jess Mookherjee (middle) observations on a train journey, to Liam Rogers (bottom) reading the beginnings of two stories (now finish them!!) with many other ideas from many others, as well as (look at the tables) tea, coffee, wine, beer, peanuts and olives!

Thanks to Javabean cafe in the High Street for hosting, now to plan the next one!

Also thanks to Mrs Anke for coming along!
