Trinity Big Top (fills the garden) plus: Bring the Happy

ImageImageImageI had a heads up in May about the Trinity garden being filled with a Circus Big Top and a week of events and activities. From that early message, regarding Word Up! poetry getting added to the bill, it’s been an exciting adventure to watch – and has ended up with our spare burger van stepping in to assist with the catering plan! So yesterday we drove the burger van into the garden, and today the tent came!

As part of the week’s events a pop-up shop has opened in Royal Victoria Place, run by Ben and Victoria of Invisible Flock, go and register your memories as part of Bring The Happy…. which on Saturday will be woven into a performance in the Big Top along with band Hope and Social. You can rate your memory on a scale of one to ten using the sticks, which are glued onto the map of Tunbridge Wells. The memory also goes online here

Other events in the Big Top this week include Circus Skills Workshop (8 -14 year olds) , Silent Cinema screening of ‘Stitches’ ( late at night in the former graveyard of Trinity church???? eek!!) and a Vintage Fair on Sunday including circus style entertainment.
