Before the October rains came, the sun was shining in the park:
It’s been a mild and dry September, and after rain yesterday, today was sunny again. A walk around the park revealed that the seagulls have moved back onto the lake, so we must be approaching winter.
Work is carrying on above the dripping wells to see what makes them drip, it turns out the pipework here is not Victorian, but a 1960s update.
Clearing has started on the other side of the path at the Upper Grosvenor Road entrance.
Fungi has popped up amongst the debris of the clearing on the first side.
Seed-heads and coloured leaves are other sights of the season change,
